| Intersurgical was formed in 1982 in the UK and started with a range of oxygen masks for the delivery of supplemental oxygen. From the start the management team saw the benefit of in-house development, manufacture and supply and the foundations of the business ethos was created. |

The company was formed with seven people, producing a limited range of respiratory products for the UK hospital market. Today we employ over 3000 people, producing an extensive range of products which are sold worldwide. |

When we formed in 1982 we produced a limited number of products for the UK market, however, through a constant programme of new product and market development today we offer an extensive product range and have become one of the market leaders for high quality respiratory care products for the hospital sector worldwide. The product portfolio can be divided into four key areas all related to respiratory support for airway management, anaesthesia, critical care and oxygen & aerosol therapy. |

Intersurgical started in Rugby, UK, and due to expansion of both the range and team relocated to Wokingham in 1997, which remains the Head Office today. Our production facilities initially began in the UK and now we have six international manufacturing sites in Lithuania, China, Italy, USA and Malaysia. |
