OroCare2 is an all-in-one dental care system for use in ICU. It allows simultaneous irrigation, cleaning and suctioning all with just one hand. OroFill mouthwash vials are available separately to fit inside the toothbrush handle.
OroClean Complete is a complete oral care kit for non self-sufficient patients. It contains a toothbrush with integrated irrigation option, dental cleaning gel and a bendable suction wand.
It is recommended to assess a patient's oral hygiene needs prior to treatment and later at regular intervals. Based on the assessment a hospital protocol should be developed to provide the required oral care. Regular and routine oral hygiene may assist in reducing VAP rates in ICU.
